New Livingston Mayor To Be Sworn In: How To Attend Or Watch Meeting

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The public is invited to join the members of the Livingston Town Council at their 2023 Reorganization Meeting and view the swearing-in ceremony of Michael M. Vieira as mayor.

The ceremony will take place at the senior center on Hillside Avenue, and also can be viewed virtually. More details are below.

In Livingston's form of government, residents elect members to the Town Council, who choose a member among themselves.

In November, council members Shawn Klein and current Mayor Edward Meinhardt were re-elected. Also elected was new council member Dr. Rosaura "Rosy" Bagolie (profiled here).

The ceremony on Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, takes place at 11 a.m.

It will be held at the Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Ave., Lower Level.

All are invited to stay for refreshments after the meeting has concluded.
