PSE&G to Replace Gas Main in Livingston, Road Closures Expected
Construction is expected to last between August 6 and September 24.

Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G), New Jersey’s largest utility and the primary electric supplier to Livingston, is replacing gas mains in Florham Park and Livingston, starting August 6. This project is part of PSE&G’s annual gas main and service replacement, which is done to strengthen their distribution system.
Construction is scheduled to begin on or about August 6, 2012 and will continue until the project is completed on or about September 24, 2012.
The work will take place on Columbia Turnpike in Florham Park and South Orange Avenue in Livingston, between Fernwood Road in Florham Park and Eisenhower Parkway in Livingston. Work hours will vary from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. for different portions of the project.

PSE&G states that during this time, traffic interruptions will be kept to a minimum.
