Snow In Livingston: Schools Make Announcement

LIVINGSTON, NJ — With a measurable snowfall and slippery conditions during rush hour Tuesday morning in North Jersey, several area schools announced delayed openings, including Livingston.
"Due to the timing of the predicted storm, Livingston Public Schools will have a 2-hour delayed opening," the district announced. Click for any updates.
Nearby, Millburn made a similar announcement, but then announced after 7 a.m. that they would close.

Up to 4 inches of snow were predicted through Tuesday morning in the area, changing to a mix of snow and rain. (For planning purposes, another snowfall is predicted for Friday.)
Elsewhere in North Jersey, districts including Millburn, Westfield, Ridgewood, Mahwah, and Wyckoff announced delayed openings early, saying they might give updates later.

"Snow covered roads and visibility down to ½ mile at times Tonight into Tue PM," the NWS said in its powerpoint presentation. "Hazardous travel likely thru Tue Eve."
