Stay Home Sunday, Livingston: Blizzard Warning To Lift, But Roads Still Hazardous
Accidents and disabled vehicles were reported on the NJ Turnpike, GS Parkway, US 1 and 9 and I-78 on Saturday.

The National Weather Service’s Blizzard Warning for the Essex County area is due to lift at 7 a.m. on Sunday, but that doesn’t mean you should plan to hit the roads anytime soon.
A NWS Special Weather Statement issued at 3:41 p.m. on Saturday warned that travel is still “highly discouraged” in the area.
“NWS Doppler radar continues to show extensive bands of moderate to heavy snow over most of southeast New York, Northeast New Jersey and Southern Connecticut, capable of producing snowfall rates of at least 1 to 2 inches per hour… With blizzard conditions continuing along the coast and in and near New York City, travel is highly discouraged.”
