Recent Updates
- Ocean City canceled several major holiday events because of the coronavirus. MORE.
- Although the General Election is slated to be conducted primarily by mail and polling places have been reduced due to the coronavirus pandemic, there are still several options to make sure your vote is counted. - If local coronavirus cases continue trending upward, the Ocean City School District may need to implement more remote learning. The shift would come at the recommendation of officials in Cape May County, which now has the second-highest school-related transmission rate in New Jersey, according to Ocean City Superintendent Dr. Kathleen Taylor. - Governor Phil Murphy confirmed that the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic has hit New Jersey, noting that the state is continuing an "aggressive program" to source the personal protective equipment needed for a strong three-month inventory in the state's strategic stockpile. MORE.
- Murphy expanded the quarantine travel advisory list to its largest ever, now demanding travelers from 41 states and territories to quarantine for two weeks after returning — even if their travel route started in New Jersey. MORE.
