Congressman Rush Holt, Representative of New Jersey's 12th District, was the keynote speaker at Monmouth University's spring Commencement ceremony and received an honorary doctor of Science degree on Wednesday, May 21, at 1 p.m. at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J.  Monmouth University awarded a total of 1,138 degrees. They included: 8 Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degrees, 313 master's degrees, and 817 bachelor's degrees. More than 1040 degree recipients participated in the ceremony.
