11 Locals Make Dean's List at The College of New Jersey

Between the warm weather and chaos of finals, focusing on achieving high grades in college can be difficult during the spring semester. 

For 11 West Morris Central and Hackettstown High School alumni, the distractions couldn't stop them from making the coveted Dean's List at The College of New Jersey. 

In order to make Dean’s List at TCNJ, a student must be enrolled in 12 credits and have at least a 3.5 grade point average for a full semester.

The list of local students earning the honors follows:

Jake Weiss, a Sophomore Finance major and a resident of Hackettstown

Jennifer Dyer, a Junior English major and a resident of Hackettstown

Elena Tafone, a Freshman Journalism and Prof. Writing major and a resident of Port Murray

Teja Chakilam, a Sophomore Philosophy major and a resident of Hackettstown

April Bullock, a Sophomore Deaf/Hard of Hearing/El major and a resident of Port Murray

Allison Nething, a Senior Special Education major and a resident of Hackettstown

Danielle Degraw, a Freshman Health & Physical Ed. Teaching major and a resident of Hackettstown

Jenna Lobby, a Senior Biology major and a resident of Hackettstown

Yesenia Werner, a Junior Biology major and a resident of Hackettstown

Marisa Sanders, a Senior Chemistry (ACS - Research) major and a resident of Hackettstown
