13 Locals Make Dean's List at College of NJ

As students at The College of New Jersey begin their spring semester, the school publicly recognized those who garnered academic achievement in the fall semester of 2012.

According to a press release, 13 local students from the Washington Township and Hackettstown areas achieved Dean’s List at the school, ranging from freshmen to seniors with majors ranging from journalism to psychology.

In order to make Dean’s List at TCNJ, a student must be enrolled in 12 credits and have at least a 3.5 grade point average for a full semester.

The list of local students earning the honors follows:

Jennifer Alford, a Freshman Graphic Design major and a resident of Hackettstown

Jennifer Dyer, a Sophomore English major and a resident of Hackettstown

Elena Tafone, a Freshman Journalism and Prof. Writing major and a resident of Port Murray

Emily Wood, a Junior History major and a resident of Hackettstown

Jessica Davis, a Senior Psychology major and a resident of Hackettstown

April Bullock, a Sophomore Deaf/Hard of Hearing/El major and a resident of Port Murray

Jennifer Sickels, a Freshman Special Education major and a resident of Hackettstown

Danielle Degraw, a Freshman Health & Ex. Sci. Teaching major and a resident of Hackettstown

Courtney Goodman, a Sophomore Nursing major and a resident of Allamuchy

Marisa Sanders, a Senior Chemistry (ACS - Research) major and a resident of Hackettstown

Michael Kuster, a Freshman Pre-Computer Science major and a resident of Hackettstown

Michael Macdougall, a Junior Computer Science major and a resident of Hackettstown

Adam Cumiskey, a Senior Physics major and a resident of Hackettstown
