The board passed a resolution asking the state school boards association to push for a review comparing digital and paper tests, emphasizing that assessments should reflect academic knowledge rather than typing skills or screen fatigue.
   

• Property Fraud Workshop Coming To Long Valley (patch.com) — Long Valley homeowners can sign up now for a free Oct. 15 workshop at the Washington Township Community Center on spotting and preventing property and deed fraud. Morris County Clerk Ann Grossi will explain common scam tactics and a free alert service, but you must register with Washington Township Recreation by Oct. 8 to reserve a spot.
