In an effort to promote this year’s charity, the school returned to the tradition of selling discounted dance tickets with a donation of two non-perishable food items. As a result, the school collected over 40 cases of non perishable food and was able to make a $2,000 donation to the Washington Township food pantry.
This year, over 500 students purchased tickets to the dance. Students were in awe when they entered the gyms and saw them transformed into a snowy park, complete with sky scrapers, a skating rink, giant dangling snow flakes and a 30-foot evergreen tree made of 1,000 green balloons. Student art work and paintings hung throughout the gyms.
