Best of the Beach LAX Tourney Filled With Long Valley Pride
Lacrosse players outscore three opponents by 15 goals to capture championship.

A team of Long Valley lacrosse players, like many holiday weekenders, spent their July 4 vacation time at the Jersey Shore.
But there wasn't much relaxing going on, rather, plenty of sweat and running as the team was crowned the Jersey Shore's Best of the Beach at the annual competition.
Hosted by T3 Lacrosse, the competition had teams square off from around the state on July 5 and 6 at Central Regional High School in Bayville. Long Valley's 2019/2020 team, made up of soon-to-be sixth and seventh graders, made its way through a difficult bracket, opposed by Prospects Lacrosse U11, Boro Pride, and for the title game, Prospects Lacrosse U13.
The Long Valley Pride outscored its opponents by a total of 25-10, and won Best of the Beach by one goal, 9-8 against the Prospects Lacrosse U13 team in overtime in the final game to be crowned champions.
