Bibles Burned During Church Vandalism Incident In Warren County
"We pray for those responsible. Give us strength to forgive them," church leaders said in a Facebook post about the incident.

LIBERTY, NJ — Bibles and other religious artifacts were set on fire during a church vandalism incident over the weekend in Liberty Township, New Jersey State Police said.
Between Oct. 19 and Oct. 22, Free Union Methodist Church in Liberty was broken into and extensively vandalized, state police said. The building itself was heavily damaged, and bibles, hymnals and other religious items were set on fire.
The front entrance, organ, piano and other items were broken, police said. No one was injured.

In a Facebook post, church leaders said they would be praying for those who vandalized the church.
"We thank God that no persons were hurt. We thank God for those who spent the morning cleaning up the mess. We thank God for the police handling the investigation. We pray for those responsible. Give us strength to forgive them," the post says.
