LONG VALLEY – Bitcoin is making headlines, but many still have questions about what it is and why it matters. On Saturday, January 20 at 1 p.m., Washington Township Public Library will welcome Dr. Janne Lindqvist, Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rutgers University, for a lecture that will explain the basics of how Bitcoin works and what you should know about its security, privacy, and ease of use. Dr. Lindqvist will also be available to answer questions. The program is free and open to the public, but registration is requested online at wtpl.org or by calling 908-876-3596.
