
The Warren County Department of Land Preservation has over 2000 acres of property and believes that one of the most effective ways of protecting this land is by educating and offering outdoor experiences to the Warren County community. Trails include: The Morris Canal Greenway, Bread Lock Park Trails in New Village, Florence Kuipers Park in Hackettstown. Natural Resource Areas include: Marble Hill in Harmony, Oxford Mountain in Oxford, and White Lake in Hardwick.
This program is presented by Jennifer Correa-Kruegel, Warren County’s Park Naturalist. Jennifer has a Masters in Parks and Resource Management from Slippery Rock University and is a Master Herpetologist through the Amphibian Foundation. She worked as a Park Naturalist for Hunterdon County Park System from 2003-2006 and then at the NJ School of Conservation, in Branchville, NJ, full-time from 2006 – 2020, starting as the Program Coordinator and evolving to an Environmental Educator. Jen is a New Jersey native and has lived in Warren County with her family since 2004.
