Central Fencers Take Down Competition at County Championship
Boys foil squad wins second straight title.
Another tournament, another impressive showing by the West Morris Central Fencing teams.
The boys and girls squads competed in the fifth annual Morris County Fencing Championship at Randolph High School on Jan. 17, the same place where the boys foil squad won in 2014.
That team, now made up of all seniors, came back as reigning champs, and left as champs for the second straight year. Andrew Mange and Terry Peters went undefeated, both 8-0, with Daly Mauldin notching six wins of his own.

On the individual side, Peters came in second for the boys foil in a three-way fence-off for first place, losing by just one point in overtime.
For the girls, sophomore Katherine Santsevich took first place in Epee and was crowned county champion. Junior Brooke Solsky placed second, followed by freshman Lana Prieur in third for girls foil.
