New Pickleball Courts Now Open In Long Valley

The new courts are open to the public daily on a first-come, first-served basis, officials said.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — After a long time coming, Long Valley residents now have a new place to get their pickleball fix.

On Monday, the town had a grand opening of the newest pickleball courts at Rock Spring Park. Township officials, including Mayor Michael Marino, attended the ceremony. Marino even served the first couple of volleys with DPW Foreman Brian Meola.

"I would like to thank and give all of the credit to Vice Mayor Matthew Murello, who, while as Mayor, was the driving force in getting this project to happen, and to our entire DPW crew who did all of the beautiful work," Marino said. "Thank you to our township professionals as well who worked hard to make this happen for our residents."
