Central Student-Athlete Recognized by State for Excellence In Classroom, On Field
Kayla Mosser will study nursing at TCNJ in the fall.

Kayla Mosser is thinking about prom, readying for graduation, and, maybe in the distance, thinking about college enrollment in the fall.
But for one day in May, she was among the top high school senior student-athletes in the state, and was most deserving.
Mosser, a standout student-athlete at West Morris Central, was celebrated at a New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association luncheon on May 17 in Edison. Mosser is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society, and was named All Conference, All Morris County, and All North Jersey during her field hockey career at West Morris.

The success doesn’t stop in the hallways of Central, of course. Mosser, who will attend The College of New Jersey in the fall, has been accepted into the school’s honors program and plans to major in nursing.
As for field hockey, she’ll be joining good company as she suits up for the 2014 National Field Hockey Championship team preparing to defend its crown.
