Central Swimmers Slice Through Regional Tourney
Team members of all grades have strong showing in invitational meet.
In addition to swimming against other local high schools in dual meet formats in the regular season, quite a few WMC swimmers also qualified to compete in a couple of invitational meets involving athletes from no less than a dozen high schools in Morris as well as in the neighboring counties.
The first of the two invitational meets was U & ME which stood for Union, Morris and Essex counties where WMC qualified for both the “A” as well as the “B” meets. The second was the Morris County Swim Championship which was participated by 19 high schools in the county. All the meets were held at Morristown High School.
Congratulations to the following WMC swimmers who finished in the top twelve spots in the individual events the meets listed below:

* Not that the athletes nor the coaches would want to use any excuse, but lots of the WMC swimmers were under the weather the week leading up to these championship meets.
