Central Teacher Selected for Annual Nationwide Google Certification Program
Natalie O'Neil is one of 35 participants to spend two days in California this summer learning about Google's educational products.
Natalie O’Neil’s summer break is going to be anything but ordinary.
The West Morris Central teacher has been selected by Google to take part in its annual Google Teacher Academy this summer, the school announced.
The two-day intensive program will be held in Mountain View, California on July 30 and 31.

O’Neil is part of a group of 35 participants from around the country who will receive hands-on experience with Google products and technologies, learn about innovative instructional strategies, and receive resources to share with colleagues.
Once certified, O’Neil will be able to instruct other educators in her local region and beyond.

Google has certified more than 800 teachers worldwide since the inception of its program in 2006.
