Donate Your Gently Worn Sneakers to Support The Dance Company at Art of Dance
(Chester, NJ 2026) — The Dance Company at Art of Dance is holding an athletic shoe drive fundraiser all September to raise money for Nationals! The Dance Company will earn funds based on the total quantity of gently worn, used, and new sneakers collected. GotSneakers, a social enterprise, will issue funds in compensation for the collected sneakers.
Anyone can help by simply donating gently worn, used, and new sneakers.
GotSneakers has developed a unique fundraising program that asks communities to reach into their closets, not their pockets! The sneaker recycling program helps keep sneakers out of landfills, which has harmful effects on our environment, and helps organizations like ours raise much needed funds. About The Dance Company at Art of Dance
The dance company is proud to showcase an exceptional group of talented dancers, ranging from minis through teens, who are dedicated to excellence in dance and performance. Training begins throughout the summer, providing dancers with a strong foundation and preparing them for a rigorous competitive season.
Throughout the season, dancers have the opportunity to develop their technical skills, artistry, confidence, and stage presence while performing alongside their teammates at competitions. The season culminates in July with Nationals, where dancers proudly represent the company and compete at the national level in both solo and group performances.
Through commitment, teamwork, and a passion for dance, these young performers continue to grow both on and off the stage, making each competition season a rewarding and memorable experience. Thank you for your support!
