The Tour de Long Valley, organized by The David D. Hammar Foundation returns this year for its 3rd year. After an enormously successful event last year, we have added a new course option to the event, as well as opened up registration to even more riders.
This year’s event will benefit The Long Valley First Aid Squad, The Washington Twp. PBA, and The David D. Hammar Foundation 501 (c)(3) bicycle safety nonprofit.

Registration will be opening up at 7am and will be open until 15 minutes before the start of your event, so please show up early to register and receive your bib number / rider packet. There will be day of registration available, but day of registration will cost an additional $5.00, so please register online and take advantage of the additional $5.00 discount code found on our Facebook page.

First Aid, Police, and Fire Fighters receive a discounted rate at our event. The registration is open to all riders, and there is no difference between the registration groups under each course. They group is only so that when you register you can leave the start area in the same group as your friends and family, the groups will also help make it easier the day of registration, so please remember what group you register in.
Your entry fee includes our well organized ride, cue sheet, rider support vehicles, water / rest stops, light breakfast, lunch starting at 12:00, raffle entry, rider SWAG Bag, and a Tour de Long Valley T-shirt if pre-registered by June 15th, 2012.
The Tour de Long Valley is offering 3 courses this year. There is a 20 mile course which stays at the top of Schooley’s Mtn, and travels along a nice scenic route with a few small hills. The 40 mile and Metric courses offer some of the best roads to ride on in NJ. With a combination of challenging climbs, and scenic rolling terrain, you will have a blast exploring bucolic Long Valley.
GPS files as well as cue sheets for ride will be available on our events website about a month prior to the ride.
This year we will have Rider SWAG Bags for all riders that attend the event. These bags include many different kinds of giveaways and information from our sponsors.
T-shirts, wristbands, window decals & I Share The Road shirts that are purchased on this website will be available at the pick up tent during the event on July 29th. Event jerseys must be purchased on this website by May 15th, and will be shipped to you prior to the event.
