Centenary College will host the fundraiser “A Toast to Turf: An Educational Introduction to Craft Beers” starting at 6 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012, in the John M. Reeves Student Recreation Center.
The craft beer tasting will be presented by Dr. Rett Oren, nationally recognized amateur wine maker and beverage consultant. Tickets cost is $60 per person / $100 per couple for an evening of food, craft beers, a live auction and raffle, a beer quiz and prizes. Proceeds benefit the Athletic Turf Field Project. The goal of the Athletic Turf Field Project is to install a synthetic turf field for use by the Men’s and Women’s Soccer and Lacrosse teams.
