In the year 1775…..The “Revolution” had barely
begun….when the “New” America’s Greatest General…and most assuredly it’s Greatest Villain…Benedict Arnold… led an invasion force of 1,000 Continental troops and “Long Rifles” through the wild, mostly Un-Charted forests and
mountains of Massachusetts & Maine in an attack on the British held city of Quebec on the St. Lawrence River in Canada. This daring Tour de Force of orelentless determination, skill and finally, unwavering raw courage is examined in detail by Forrest “Woody”Burgener, a member of the “Company of Military Historians” (West Point Chapter)and frequent lecturer on Arnold and the Revolutionary War, tells the incredible tale…of the Jaw-Dropping Assault through unknown land, hurricanes, blizzards, starvation, near-mutiny and individual heroics and survival skills….and the beginning of the Legend that was Benedict Arnold on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Twp.
