Free Yoga Classes@the Washington Twp. Public Library

The Washington Township Public Library, 37 E. Springtown Rd., Long Valley, NJ is pleased to
announce that the Friends of the Library are sponsoring a series of free yoga classes.

The classes will run on Mondays from 10 am to 11 a.m. from April 9th to May 14th.Taught by Long Valley resident and Hatha Yoga instructor, Melissa Dahbi, the classes will be held in the Library’s meeting room.

Open to participants of all levels but geared toward beginners, the class incorporates a gentle, meditative style of yoga.

Class size is limited so registration is required for each class; online at www.wtpl.org or by calling the library @908-876-3596.


Participants should wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a mat, a small towel and a water bottle.

About the instructor: Melissa Dahbi is a Long Valley resident, and an accredited International Hatha
Yoga Teacher, from the Hong Kong International School, Yoga Limbs.

Her classes follow in the tradition of Hatha Yoga with lyengar influence, and emphasize body alignment, the use of props, focusing on strength development, breath awareness, meditation-connecting the body, breath and mind.
