Centenary College will be holding a Gates-Ferry Lecture at 7 p.m. November 14, 2011, in the Sitnik Theater at the David and Carol Lackland Center at Centenary College (715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown). Centenary College Trustee and Gates-Ferry Distinguished Visiting Lecturer the Hon. Dr. Howard L. Burrell, will speak on the subject of “The Three-Fifths Compromise - Our Nation’s Heritage And Burden.” There will be a meet and greet reception with Dr. Burrell after the event. This event is free and open to the public.
