Library, 37 E. Springtown Rd., Long Valley, NJ on Thursday, July 21, 2011. Deborah Waddell, Dipl.Ac., C.A. is the Director of Skyland’s Acupuncture & Wellness Center in Long Valley, NJ. will
go into What Acupuncture is, what could be treated with Acupuncture and what to expect from a treatment. In addition to discussing acupuncture, she will also go into Chinese Dietary Therapy and its role in health and wellness.
She will bring both charts and needles so people can see how
thin they are. She may also do a demonstration on one or two people to show how painless the needles are. She will also provide educational cards on common illnesses that acupuncture treats for them to keep.
Acupuncture is an effective form of health care that has
evolved into a complete and holistic medical system. Practitioners of acupuncture and Chinese medicine have used this noninvasive medical system to diagnose and help millions of people get well and stay healthy. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine are a preventative medicine rather than a reactionary medicine. An acupuncturist will place fine, sterile needles at specific acupoints on the body. This activates the body’s Qi and promotes natural healing by enhancing recuperative power, immunity and physical and emotional health. Acupuncture can also improve overall function and well-being.
It is a safe, painless and effective way to treat a wide variety of
medical problems as endorsed by the National Institute of Health.

Deborah Waddell, Dipl.Ac., C.A. is the Director of Skyland’s
Acupuncture & Wellness Center in Long Valley, NJ. Ms. Waddell is a graduate and former teacher of the Eastern School of Acupuncture in Montclair, NJ. She received her Acupuncture License from the
New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners, the Pennsylvania Board of Osteopathic Physicians and her National Diplomat Certification from the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists.
Deborah also has a degree in Biology and Chemistry with Summa Cum laude Honor from Felician College. Mrs. Waddell also was awarded a research fellowship at the NJ Institute of Technology where she performed research in bioremediation before becoming an Acupuncturist.
