Taste Wine like A Pro – The Basics of Wine Tasting

Most of us know how to drink wine, but we can deepen our appreciation for both wine and wine making by learning how to correctly taste wine. Kenn Pogash from Chester Shop Rite Wines & Spirits will discuss a systematic approach to tasting wine and educate us on the characteristics and important considerations of wine tasting. Kenn holds certification from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust in London.

Since the early 1960's wine has been a hobby
and passion for  Kenn Pogash, "the guy wearing the bow tie" .In 2003, he obtained Certification by the Wine & Spirits Education Trust by displaying knowledge of wine  labeling laws, appellation systems, major wine-producing regions, grape types, grape growing, wine-making and tasting technique.
