www.goodcaptains.com

Captains of Leisure offers the most diverse selection of funk, rock, soul, and blues around.  Featuring a burly instrumental foundation with layered vocals and horns, you'll want to party all night.  If you're craving the ever-so funky sounds of Tower of Power, James Brown, Earth, Wind & Fire, Steely Dan, or Stevie Wonder, they got it!  Old school R & B like Wilson Pickett, Temptations, Sam & Dave or Otis Redding?  They got it!  Classic rock with horns like Chicago, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Doors, Joe Cocker, Blues Bros., and Van Morrison?  They got it!  Smooth Soul like Al Green and Ray Charles?  They got it!  And these guys wouldn't be a real Jersey band if they didn't cover some home state talent like Springsteen or Southside Johnny & the Jukes, right?  Fuggedaboudit, they got that too!  So what are you waiting for?  Make plans to get out and see one of the areas hottest bands.  Why?  'Cause they got it!

Jam-Bone

www.jam-bone.com

What do you get when a salesman, web-designer, and an attorney walk into a bar?   One incredible rock trio that carries forward the jamband music style of the Grateful Dead, Phish, and Little Feat. They're called Jam-Bone and their promise is to reconstruct familiar songs into original and spontaneous jams.   No one is better equipped to do this.   Steve Kirchuk changes the chemistry of the standard 3-piece rock band formula by introducing his 7 string bass guitar. Add Rich Plumpton's highly skilled and innovative rhythm/lead/slide guitar. Tie it together with the punctuated groove laid down by John Cermenaro on drums.   That's Jam-Bone. Rich Ortiz of the Captains is guest vocalist in the Jam-Bone clip featured here.

Group Therapy

www.grouptherapyband.net

They have performed at The Mahwah Bar and Grill, The Emerson Hotel, Shortway's in Hawthorne, NJ, The Mountainview Bar and Grill in Long Valley, NJ, as well as The Mile Square in Hoboken and The Hungry Peddler in Cresskill, NJ. They have also performed at private and corporate functions throughout the area including the last three years at the Ridgewood, NJ Fourth of July Parade. Grab a friend and come out to see this great cover band play your favorite rock and soul tunes.

68 AD

68 AD is a rock band from Warren/Morris county NJ made up of High School buddies. They have played in bands of one form or another together since the 5th grade spanning the eras of arena rock, heavy metal, punk and even some blues. The current incarnation of this group of friends is 68 AD.  For the past 6 years 68 AD has recorded and released several albums of original material in the vein of the Ramones with a modern edge. They also have a plethora of cover material that they play including songs from Cheap Trick, Neil Young, Ramones, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, The Who and CCR to name a few.  The band members are Art Wright from Independence Township on lead vocals and guitar, John Trotte from Budd Lake on guitar, Ron Pastishnock from Warren on bass and vocals, and Joey Leshko from Long Valley on drums.
