First Wolfpack Challenge Comes Friday in Randolph
Central will play first football road game of season against Rams.

The Wolfpack football team is back in the hunt in 2013, fresh off an opening week win against Morris Knolls.
Defending its 2012 North II, Group IV championship won’t be easy, of course, and the ‘Pack is primed for its first real challenge in the second game.
Central will hit the road to take on the Randolph Rams at 7 p.m. Friday night.

Randolph is 0-1 on the season, but its opening week defeat came at the hands of Pope John, which is ranked No. 11 in the state. With a 21-19 lead at halftime in week one, Randolph came off the gas and let up another 24 points to the private Sussex County school and ended up losing 43-28, according to nj.com.
As for the Wolfpack, an opening week win against Knolls saw the breakout of senior Javier Murray, who reached the end zone three times as Central won 21-7.

The Rams got the best of Central in 2012 with a 12-0 win.
