Half-Days Added To West Morris High Schools School Calendar

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Some last minute changes were made to the West Morris Regional High School District calendar, including adding half days and shortening Memorial Day weekend.

Three half days for students were added to the calendar: Oct. 18, Jan. 10, and Feb. 28. Teachers will spend the second half of the day in professional development. All three half days are Wednesdays.

In addition, students will have off on April 2 for teacher professional development. June 4, which was previously scheduled to be professional development, is now a regular school day.

Memorial Day Weekend will shrink by one day: students will still have the Monday off, but will have to report to school on Tuesday, May 29.
