Heart Attack Survivor's Family Raising Money For Long Valley First Aid Squad
"...If the responders had not made such quick, effective decisions, our father likely would not be alive today."

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Thanks to his fast acting wife and the Long Valley First Aid Squad, Long Valley resident Chris Del Plato is alive today. His family wants to give back to the first responders that saved his life, and have set up a GoFundMe to raise money for a donation.
On Sept. 23, Del Plato suffered a massive heart attack. His wife, Nancy, who is a nurse, began CPR until first responders arrived at the family's home. After members of the Long Valley First Aid Squad used an AED, he was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center.
"If anything had happened out of sequence that day, if there was any delay, or if the responders had not made such quick, effective decisions, our father likely would not be alive today. We are truly grateful and thankful for everyone who volunteered and helped during this emergency," his daughter, Lauren Susan, wrote on the GoFundMe page.
