The first weekend of April won’t be one to forget any time soon for the Northern Elite gymnasts.
Two teams, made up of gymnasts from Long Valley, Hackettstown, Mt. Olive, Sparta and Roxbury, made a name for themselves at a state and national competition, bringing home some heavy hardware.
The Northern Elite Wildcats All Star Junior team competed in Ocean City, Maryland on April 6 and 7 at the annual National Reach the Beach Competition. Following flawless performances, the team was named National Champions, which earned them a spot in the U.S. Finals in Virginia Beach in May.
