Local Students Make Dean's List at Virginia Tech

Four Washington Township natives recognized by university.

Thanks to news from Virginia Tech University, this week’s Whiz Kid column has a handful of high-achieving students from Long Valley that are worth highlighting.

The following students enrolled at Virginia Tech were named to the dean’s list for the spring semester of 2011. To qualify, students must attempt at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.4 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, the university said.

Sean Lynch
Lynch is a freshman majoring in general engineering in the College of Engineering.

James Daly
Daly is a senior majoring in mechanical engineering in the College of Engineering.
