Long Valley Cheese Maker Nominated For Garden State Culinary Arts Award

Have you tried Valley Shepherd Creamery's sheep's milk cheese?

LONG VALLEY, NJ— A Long Valley creamery that specializes in sheep's milk cheese has been nominated for a Garden State Culinary Arts Award.

Valley Shepherd Creamery was nominated in the Outstanding Food Artisan category, for those who have "demonstrated significant talent and skill in their chosen genre and has set new or consistent standards of achievement and excellence," according to the awards description.

The winners will be selected by 100 independent judges, including journalist, food writers, cookbook authors and other experts. Finalists will be announced in April, and winners will be announced in May.
