Eva-Marie Quinones of Long Valley has kicked off her college career on winning foot, and can now claim the title of champion. Attending Bard College as a freshman in 2013, Quinones, as a member of the Bard Debate Union, kicked off the travel season at SUNY Binghamton in September, competing against a field of nearly 100 teams. Quinones and her partner, Jackie Merrill, both members of the class of 2017, worked their way through the novice tournament bracket, eventually winning the competition. Teams competed in policy and world debate during the tournament. Quinones is a Long Valley home school graduate of 2013.  Information and photo provided by Laura-Ann Quinones.
