Long Valley Volunteers Lay Wreaths On The Graves Of Veterans

The Washington Township Police assisted the LV Knight of Columbus and Veterans Post 1776 as part of Wreaths Across America.

LONG VALLEY, NJ - Last Saturday the Washington Township Police Department assisted the LV Knight of Columbus and Veterans Post 1776 with Wreaths Across America, placing over 300 wreaths on the graves of veterans.

According to their website, each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, the mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,600 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.
