Old Farmers Road School Yearbook Honored In Showcase Contest

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Old Farmer's Road School yearbook earned an honorable mention in the 2017 Lifetouch Yearbook Showcase Contest in the elementary school category. They were previously honored in 2015.

The school was given the award at the March 15 Board of Education meeting. Yearbooks in four categories (large and small high schools, middle schools and elementary schools) were judged based on themes, design, continuity, photography, writing, creativity and coverage.

The OFRS yearbook committee is:

• Kara Olsen, Contributing Editor
• Rosann Glommeau, Contributing Editor

"The books reflect hours of hard work by the staffs and advisers," Lifetouch yearbook education specialist and contest coordinator Laura Schaub said. "These books are some of the best elementary and secondary books in the nation."
