Overturned Dump Truck Closes Long Valley Road

LONG VALLEY, NJ — An overturned dump truck closed a Long Valley road for about an hour and a half Tuesday afternoon.

Flocktown Road was blocked at Nestling Wood Drive between about 1:10 p.m. and 2:50 p.m. When the dump truck overturned, it spilled mulch and a small amount of diesel across the roadway, township officials said. It was cleaned up by the fire department.

The driver was taken to the hospital with non-serious injuries, police said.
