Photos: Student Teaches Peers To Plant Trees
Sixth grader tries changing the world one seed at a time.
Paige Ruschke, a sixth grade student at Long Valley Middle School, decided to help change the world on the outside of the school by starting on the inside.
As part of her social studies class project, title Change the World, led by Matt Marciano, Ruschke gave each student in a science class seedlings they would plant on Arbor Day.
Ruschke also created a PowerPoint presentation that explained the benefits of planting trees and best practices of how to do so.
