2.3K Without Power In Washington Twp, Schooley's Mtn Road Closed

Breaking: JCP&L isn't sure when power will be back on in the township.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — As a nor'easter dumps inches of snow on Washington Township, power has been knocked out to over a thousand homes and roads are closed due to downed power lines.

Schooley's Mountain Road is closed between Flocktown Road and Route 57 due to downed power lines as of 11:34 a.m., police said. It was not clear when the road would reopen.

As of 1:15 p.m., 2,270 homes are without power in the township. Countywide, 14,911 homes are dark as rain turns to snow. JCP&L said they're not sure when power will be restored.
