Road Blocked As Trees Take Down Power Line In Long Valley

LONG VALLEY, NJ — A roadway is blocked in Long Valley following a storm with high winds that left trees down Monday afternoon.

Laketown Road is currently closed at the Four Bridges Road intersection due to a tree down on power wires, police said.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternative roadways if possible.

Customers of Jersey Central Power and Light may be affected by power outages in the area, as there are currently 137 reported outages, according to JCPL.
