School Board Incumbents Get Top Positions On November Ballot
Four candidates will vie for three seats on local school board, all seeking three-year terms.

Morris County Clerk Ann Grossi this week conducted the annual picking of names for ballot position on the November General Election ballot, and incumbent candidates for the Washington Township School Board of Education grabbed the top spots.
There are four candidates running for three open seats, all with a three-year term attached. Two of the candidates are running for re-election, while a third, Al DiGabrielle, is running for election after being appointed to a seat in July. That seat was previously held by Walt Cullen, who resigned his post in June.
According to the County Clerk’s office, Michelle Munley and David Chance Healy grabbed the top two ballot spots, with DiGabrielle third, and newcomer Marielle Elizabeth Pastuck being selected for the fourth and final ballot spot.

All names were chosen at random out of a container.
While one Washington Township seat is available on the West Morris Regional School Board of Education, no names will be posted on the ballot. Paperwork for Tom Richar was sent but not received by the clerk’s office prior to the filing deadline, so the incumbent plans to run a write-in campaign.
