The fair was a huge success due to the volunteers of various Long Valley Juniors who made up the science fair committee and ladies who volunteered their time on the day of the fair, community members who served as judges, boy scouts, and the Long Valley Juniorettes.
All of our elementary schools staff including principals, teachers, office staff and Cucinella's custodians played an important part in preparing and facilitating the science fair. For the second year, the fair had several exhibitors such as Mad Science, What Can Lasers Do, Feathered Friends, the 4-H Club, and Mt. Olive's Lego Robotic team.

Mr. Jeff Mohre, our K-8 schools superintendent, gave out the awards while the Long Valley Juniors' vice president, Sally Doris, did a great job as the Master of Ceremonies throughout the fair. Approximately 350 spectators filled the school's cafetorium, and the room was buzzing with excitement for the entire duration of the fair, lasting three hours.
Every experiment was a phenomenal work of science and the participants were beaming with smiles willing to tell anyone and everyone about their experiment. For the first time, the fair had a tie for 1st place based on judging scores, right down to the decimal.
