A future Target remodeling and expansion project in Washington Township will be discussed at a planning board meeting next week. According to planning board documents, Target, located at 68 US-46 W, Hackettstown, plans to convert standard parking spots into drive-up spots along with, adding signage, stop controls, a pedestrian crosswalk and updating supplemental lighting.

'High' COVID Risk In Long Valley, Cases Continue To Rise
COVID-19 has not left the Long Valley area, which may carry a greater virus risk than most of the state. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Morris County is one of 12 in New Jersey with "High" COVID-19 community levels, with the rest remaining at low or medium risk. In the last seven days, 44 confirmed positive tests have been performed and reported to the Morris County Division of Public Health

2 Long Valley Teens Sent Intimate Photo, Harassing Statements: Police
A pair of Long Valley teenagers who allegedly shared an intimate photo of another juvenile and made harassing statements are facing harassment charges, authorities announced. The teenagers have been charged with fourth-degree cyber harassment, police said.
$10K Awarded In Scholarships By Long Valley Junior Women's Club
The Long Valley Junior Women's Club (LVJWC) recently announced that it has given ten graduates from the West Morris Central High School Class of 2022 $10,000 scholarships. The LVJWC is a volunteer-run organization that raises funds through a variety of fundraisers and programs, including the CARE afterschool program and the Racks Valley Boutique in downtown Long Valley.
Mobile Outreach Initiative At Long Valley Food Pantry
Navigating Hope, a mobile outreach initiative that provides social services will be at the Long Valley food bank to connect residents with public service agencies to assist vulnerable and at-risk people in finding the assistance they require, ranging from homeless solutions and addiction treatment to mental health counseling or a combination of services.
