"Using Social Media for College Admissions" at W.T. Library
A presentation by College Concierge and Homework Helpers on Monday, February 10th at 7 p.m.

LONG VALLEY -- According to a 2018 study by the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, about 25% of college admissions officers review applicants' social media profiles. With that number expected to rise, now is the time to ask yourself, "How is my social media footprint going to help or hurt me when it comes time to apply to college?" To help answer that question, Washington Township Public Library is hosting "Using Social Media for College Admissions" on Monday, February 10th at 7 p.m. Join College Consultant Alice Fuscaldo, from College Concierge in Long Valley, as she explores this recent trend and gives the best tips to ensure your social media is presenting you in the best possible way for college admissions. Joining Alice is Homework Helpers founder Josh Goodkin, who will discuss an overview of the SAT vs. ACT, big news regarding changes to the ACT occurring in the coming months, and answer all your pressing test preparation questions. Bring a notepad, your high school son or daughter, and come learn and ask questions during this information evening. Light refreshments served. The program is free and open to the public, but registration is requested at wtpl.org or by calling the library at 908-876-3596. Washington Township Public Library is located at 37 East Springtown Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853.
