Veterans Saluted, Honored by Old Farmers Road School Students
Annual event honored late Long Valley resident and Army veteran.

Long known to have one of the most decorated Veterans’ Day ceremonies around, Old Farmers Road School students and faculty didn’t disappoint again this year, honoring those who have served in the military Monday morning.
Members of the American Veterans Association of Washington Township were on hand to be honored by students and faculty, along with the Washington Township Police honor guard and bagpiper.
The ceremony was dedicated to the memory of Jack Cannon, an Army veteran who died last month at the age of 79. Cannon was a member of the AVAWT and lived in Long Valley.
