WATCH: West Morris Central Erupts as Barron Scores 1,000th Point
Highlander notches place in school history against Delbarton on Senior Night.

The ball was making its way around the horn when Conor Barron cut inside the baseline, took a short pass and made a quick pivot around his defender.
From underneath the basket he rose, attempting a reverse layup that hit the rim. But the relentless senior Highlander grabbed his own rebound, used his spring-loaded legs and put in a layup from the right side to cement his legacy in West Morris Central’s history.
With the basket, Barron scored his 19th point of the game against Delbarton on Senior Night, but more incredibly, it was the 1,000th point of his West Morris Central High School basketball career.

After the bucket, Barron backpedals to ready himself on defense, while the crowd – and his teammates – erupt in joy, enveloping him for reaching the milestone (see video below).
Barron joins eight other alumni who’ve hit the 1,000-point plateau, just seven of whom completed the feat entirely at Central.
