Water Restrictions In Long Valley Extended Through October
Because of the ongoing drought warning, the Washington Township MUA is extending the current restrictions once more.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Washington Township Municipal Utilities Authority (WTMUA) has extended the current restrictions due to the continued drought watch in Morris County and several other areas throughout New Jersey.
Because of the drought, the WTMUA has decided to extend the current mandatory water restrictions for Schooley's Mountain Water System residents until Oct. 15.
The Schooley's Mountain service area includes the Fawnridge tract and areas north of it, as well as the portion of the Township north of Springtown Road. Each customer in the designated area is responsible for adhering to the restrictions imposed.
