We’ll scoot right past the middle of June this week, and celebrate Flag Day (Thursday) and Father’s Day (Sunday). It’s a busy week even without those days, so let’s see what’s going on.
You Need to Know About Hours: Summer hours are in full effect for the , which means all offices there will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and closed on Fridays. Plan accordingly.
You Need to Know About a Grand Opening: Well, it’s not a new business, but a relocated one. The Hackettstown Midwives, which formed in, you guessed it, Hackettstown, has moved to in Washington Township. They’ll be holding a Grand Opening on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at their new office to share with their current patients and invite all who may interested in learning more about their practice. You Need to Know About a Relay: Students and community members from the West Morris Regional High School District will be gathering at West Morris Central for the annual Relay For Life event, set for Friday at 4 p.m. The relay will go through the night and raise awareness, and funds, for cancer research. .
You Need Some Awards: Another great event taking place at West Morris Central is the annual student awards presentation, which will be held Monday, June 11 at 7 p.m. Students will be recognized for great academic achievements over the past school year. .

You Need to Know About a Meeting: On Wednesday at the municipal building, the Washington Township Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. All residents are welcomed to attend, as the meeting is open to the public.
