  • I had the king crab, but the couple next to me who had the salmon said it was delicious. And there was a woman at the bar who had a humongous tray of oysters. Having grown up in New York City the prices here are pretty reasonable. The food for the most part is pretty good.
  • A seafood haven. Heavenly oysters and fresh "catch of the day", many from local suppliers - done right. Classy ambiance. Great date place. The seasonal cobblers for dessert are exceptionally good.Danielle at the bar is absolutely fantastic and the owner is "hands on" and present often. Jonathan is very accommodating. Try the really tasty Branzino!
  • So happy the the Chesapeake has reopened they have redone the interior and fixed the noise problem and it's better than ever. I mostly end up at the bar having appetizers but good wine good service and good food in downtown Long Valley. They don't serve pizza anymore but the food has been dramatically improved.
  • It's back! Nothing has made it in this location since the original Chesapeake Bay left years ago. My husband and I have been twice now for dinner. I can't say enough for the food, service and the personal attention by Keith, the owner. I had the fried oysters the first time and last night had the crab cake.
